Who we are

Mark Thomas (T. E. Mark) is a science journalist, author and screenwriter who explores Science & Technology through engaging stories while teaching professional and aspiring science communicators the art and craft of Storytelling Science.

He conducts remote and onsite workshops where he shares his enthusiasm and curiosity for science and the craft of storytelling. “Writing can inform or it can sparkle and command a reader to find it intriguing. There’s a way to make it do both.”

With backgrounds in science journalism, astrophysics and solar engineering Mark guides other writers, public speakers and educators - helping them add that sparkle to their work.

“No one dreams of being useless or of living a life without dreams,” is one of Mark’s more notable quotes. He believes that, and his dream is to share his love and curiosity about our physical world. And teach others what he’s learned and continues to learn about communicating science and technology in novel ways.
